About the Poem

This is a love poem about how I used to love this girl and I had to move away from her. It tells how I will always remember the times we shared together.

I hope you don't mind but because I liked this poem so much I made it into a song and performed it at school. Don't worry, I told them where I got the poem/lyrics from.

Ancient Memories

I remember how I loved you
And it felt so good
Time would be turned back
Only if it could

The love I felt for you
It was so true
And even though you've got someone else
I can't stop loving you

-Chorus-

All of these
Ancient memories
They set me to ease
Ancient memories

Once I had you so close to me
Now time had passed and I'm too late
I'll never stop thinking of you
Was this meant to be my fate?

I can't stop thinking of our past
About you, us, and what we had
I'll always treasure in my heart
These memories, the good and the bad

-Chorus-

All of these
Ancient memories
They set me to ease
Ancient memories

Now all this love is in the past
All this love I always had
Time is here then it's gone
I will always be so sad

-Chorus-

All of these
Ancient memories
They set me to ease
Ancient memories

-Chorus-

All of these
Ancient memories
They set me to ease
Ancient memories
