About the Poem

I felt that I needed to tell my girlfriend why I loved her so much, and why I was able to do so, and this was the result. I had to thank her for everything she had done for me, because she had done so much. Love Poems

The Reason

Whenever I think of you
My heart soars
And my lips
Smiling
Whisper your name
Softly
But still lovingly.
My all is yours
And only yours
To do with what you will.
You have my heart
To keep forever.
I am devoted to you
And I am unafraid
To be so
Because I realize
That you would never
Hurt me
Because you love me.
This fact gives me
The confidence
To surrender myself to you
Wholly and unconditionally.
Thank you for loving me
The way you do,
It fills me with warmth
And contentment
But most of all
It fills me with love
For you.
