A Few Visitor Comments

nicole, I just lost my brother in august in a motorcycle accident. He would have been 18 this November 6. Reading this poem brought back memories of me and my brother when we were little. We were just a year and 16 days apart. And I still wake up to this day expecting to see my brother every morning before I go to work. Well I just wanted to tell you that I thought your poem was beautiful and that it captured alot of the same feelings that i have about my brother.

You And Me

We are exactly a year and one month apart.
But it seems so very less.
I look back at the memories and tears come to my eyes.
Now that you are gone, I feel my life has collapsed.
Even though you are gone, I guess my spirit has gotten stronger.
You are my diary.
I told you everything without fear that those words
I told you would ever leave you.

You brought those words with you to the grave.
I will do the same for you.
You were my best friend, my first cousin in fact.
I never took you for granted.
I cherish every memory I have of you.
I look at the good and the bad memories. And I laugh at them.
You made a great impact on my life.
You always told me that the only thing you believed in was God.
I've always believed you.
I love you and will miss you a lot.
My friend, best friend....Agatha.
May you rest in peace.
