About the Poem
This poem was written shortly after the death of my good friend, Ryan, who died a tragic death by falling asleep while driving. Like the poem states, I never really thought that it would come so soon. It was a hard time not only for me, but for all of his friends. This poem goes out to anybody who has lost someone close to them.

wll this poem reminds me of my best friend karina martinez she died in a car crash the rest of the people in the car were just injured well any way this poems reminds me alot of her she dien in may 2 2007 jus a few weeks a go its really hard for me to keep goning on with my life each day i try my best to keep on but every day i feel more week i jus wish this could have not happen to her she was really nice intellegant girl i loved her as my own sister we were like two peas in a pod we were very close

i really like this poem, makez me feel soo much better because it giveZ me stregth to keep on living, . i lost two homiez in 2004 by suicide, both tha same way, it was hard,very hard, i still haven't gotten over tha deathz. i think about them everyday, but i know that they are in a better place. hi i have printed a copy of your poem because it just reminds me of my friend i lost when we were both 15yrs old she died of meningitus c we were like sisters and when ever you saw one the other would be right behind i am now 30 yrs old but reading things like this just takes me right back to that day and it is nice to sit and go in to your self for half hour and remember thanks

MY BEST FRIEND DIED ALMOST 2 WEEKS AGO ON WEDNESDAY. SHE WAS FED UP WITH HER MOTHER BECASUE SHE TREATED HER SO BAD WHEN SHE WAS LITTLE. SHE HAD HUNG HERSELF IN THE CLOSET BY TIEING A DUFFLE BAG STRAP AROUND HER NECK AND THEN LET HERSELF SIT DOWN A DIE A PAINFULL DEATH! I MISS HER VERY MUCH AND THIS POEM REMINDS ME OF HER.

I love this poem because i have this friend his name is tommy and i go to maysville. Well he went to maysville last year until he committed suicide. He was 16 and in tenth grade and had a whole life ahead of him but he hung himself.

One of my best friends was hit and killed while riding her bicycle on June 20, 2005. She was only 14 years old, and had just graduated from 8th grade 6 days before. We are now fundraising to build a gym in her memory.

This poem made me think about my best friend who was murdered in November 2004 by her boyfriend. We learned so many things from each other and now that is all gone. I will always have the memories of us hanging out and her being there for the birth of my daughter.

Hi, This poem is amazing. These were the thinkings I made when my friend died by committing a suicide leaving me all alone in this world. Its now three and a half years since she died. Till now no one could take her place nor even the sorrow left me. This poem is a sooth to my broken heart.
