She meant a great deal to me. Even though, I was very young when she died I got to know her after and before she died as well. She died from Liver Cancer. I thank God that I was able to tell my mother just how much she meant to me and how much I loved her. She passed away June 2004. I searched for a poem, for her service, that would express those feelings and found 'Never Alone'. It was, and still is, truly perfect. I tried to write something myself but my feelings of grief were much too strong. So thank you Mr. Belcher for sharing your poem with all of us.

I was truly touched by the poem b/c my uncle and only godfather passed away recently not long before my birthday and I was going to have a party and I was supposed to dance with him. Unfourtanetly he was basically murder aboutless than a month before my birthday. I wanted to write something too but it was too hard to. Seem as though death always leave us with an empty feeling. This poem touched me in many ways. My boyfriend's older brother was just recently killed in an automoblie accident,and two months later his brother's first child was born.
