I fell in love with this poem as soon as I read it for the first time. I have also known the pain of losing someone dear to me and now all that remains are happy memories and a painful heart. I think that the poem encompasses all that a person could feel when he/she has lost someone, a lost love.

i like the poem a lot. i could definitely relate to what the author has felt. it's just really sad but i know there will come a time that the pain will just be worth nothing anymore for you learn to get up and be strong.
