I would like to say thankyou so much, on May 10th it will be a year anniversary since the death of my Grandfather. I read your poem at his funeral. It brought me great comfort in knowing that i will see him again. It was the hardest time of my life, as it is the first time i have lost some 1 so close to me. As it is almost a year i have been feeling down recently and sort the poem i read. It ahd once again inspired me to tell the people you love that you do love them because you never know when they are goin to be called to god. Thankyou once again. I just want to say R. I. P Grandad (1923-2003)

I was able to sit here and read your poem and put myself in your shoes. I lost my grandma in September 18,2002. When I was looking over her I was thinking excatly what you said in your poem. I was reading and I also wanted to cry at the same time. I liked the poem a whole lot. Good job on the poem.

I lost my grandmother almost 8 months ago. There is never day that goes by and I don't think of her. Up until now I could not find the words to express how I feel. Every word of this poem is true to the last letter. I just want to say that the author of this poem has an incredible talent, keep up the wonderful work. And thank you so much.

This poem remindes me of the lose of my grandpa. He and I were close. I remember spending all my summers with him and my grandma when I was growing up. He is always in my thoughts and prayers. I still can't believe that he is gone. Everytime my phone rings I think that it's him. I will always love and miss him. He meant everything to me. This poem will now help me go on.

YOUR POEM REMINED ME ABOUT MY MY BUDDIES WHO PASSED AWAY SINCE 2001. I HAVE LOST OVER 12 FRIENDS. AND 9 MEMBERS OF MY FAMILY. ALL BECAUSE OF GANG RELATED, DRUGS, AND ALCOHOL. IT WAS SO HARD FOR ME WATCHING MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS GETTING BURIED UNDER GROUND ABOUT TWICW A MONTH. NOW UR POEM REALLY REMINDS ME ABOUT MY MEMORIES OF THEM. KEEP IN TOUCH! PEACE OUT!

This is such a great poem. I just lost my grandpa yesterday and the reality of it is yet to sink in. Reading your poem is the beginning of my healing process. My grandpa's death is such a blow to me because he was the father i never had when i was growing up. The seeds he implanted in me will forever florish and visible for the world to see.

im a 14yr old South African. My grandpa (dads dad) suddenly passed away from suffering from a heart attack, wen i went down to the funeral, my moms mom(my gran)had a stroke. she passed away a month later. 2 granparents passing away in 2 months. hard! people often think that im stupid,im a teenager and shouldnt be crying ova that sort of thing. but no one realises how close i was to them. It is so nice to read some one elses poetry, and to realise that im no the only one going through a time like this.
Heather
