This poem really touched me. I can relate to it alot. I lossed my father to suicide in 1994, on Thanksgiving day when I was the age of 8. I still to this day question why but I will always remember all the good times. I will always love my dad.

Stuart, I love your poem can't relate in the same way but my father left me when I was 8 and i haven't found him yet. But don't worry you'll see your father again!

I have tried to kill myself before and reading your poem makes me realise how selfish it would have been of me. I mean how many people I would have hurt never really occured to me. Thank You very much for writing this and making me think twice before doing it again. And also your words were beautifully written.

What a great poem. I know how you feel about losing someone close to you. When I was 2 mother pasted away from cancer, i am 14 now. Everyone knows it is hard for a female to grow up with out a mother to talk to and also even a male to grow up with out a father. There are many, many nights when I ask the question "Why".why she had to get cancer. And of course there isnt an answer. You are in my thoughts and prayers! God Bless.

You may never no why but you should allways remember he loved you.In remeberance of a man who loved his son.God bless this son who had courage to wright his feelings!

I know how hard it is to loose someone you love at a young age, when I was 6 I went to spend the weekend at my grandfathers house. He died in the night and I found him the next day. Words can't explain what your feeling but I sincerely offer my condolences...
