I related so much to this poem. I have two sons and everyday it is the same mess. You reminded me that I can take a moment and be with them and make a mess with them. Thank you.

I can relate to this Mother. I have 4 children of my own and I know how frustrating things can get when they are making messes and you are trying to clean BUT I also know how fast they grow up and how fast all those little finger prints on the walls can disapear! But all in all it is always worth the mess just to be blessed with them.

I think this poem is great!!! It really puts everything into focus. I have two small children, ages 5 and 1.5 and this poem really hits home for me. You should make every moment count when it comes to children - as they grow so fast.

I am 26 years old and a mother of 3. I read this poem over and over and cried my eyes out. I love it! I go through this everyday. I made a copy and put it on my fridge. Everyday I will read it and hope it has the same effect it had on me the first time and make me count my blessings at the begining of each day.
