I can't believe I just read a poem that is identical to one that I would write. I feel the exact way that this poet did when she wrote this. Just when I thought I was alone.

This poem that she wrote reminds me so much of me. Nobody really knows how I really feel except for one of my friends Holly, but that is only because she is dealing with the same situation I am going through. After I read this poem I almost felt like crying because it was so realted to my life and what I am thinking about my life. I really, really respect and understand what Nikki is talking about in her poem.

your poem touched me. i wanted to reaffirm with you that life is a journey, not a destination. So where you've been is experience and where you go will also be experience. You have the right and the responsibility to choose the path upon which you walk. I wish for you a gentle journey down life's path.. a little sun, a little shade and no more complexity then you wish upon yourself. listen to your heart.pursue your dreams. you write from an honest place and a have the ability to express it. good job.
