I really really really likes this poem because it really touched me. My grandpa have been battleing cancer and he finally passed away and the hardest thing i had to do was to go in and tell him goodbye and not leave anything out that i would regret not saying. I miss him so much and i was to pulled out of class and my mom and my eyes met and me started to ball and then my brother too and it hurt so much more to see my 17 year old brother cry. It was something i had never seen before.

this poem was very touching. I just lost my grandpa pap-pa almost 2 months ago, i didnt think i was going to be able to go on anylonger without him he was one of my best friends its so hard when to hear people call me "Jac" because i know i wont hear people calling him that anylonger (i was named after him) You poem helped me to realize that even though he's gone he's never going to leave my heart. My pap-pa's with God now and he's happy i think we all need to remember that and know that our grandparents want us to be happy also

This poem has really hit my heart, for my grandfather too loved christmas with all his heart, and was a major role in my life, every christmas eve we spent at his house sharing gifts, food, laughter, and love with the exception of this year He spent his last christmas eve with us all viewing him in his casket, and as Amanda wrote in this poem I to am lost. It is so wonderful to see how peoples grandparents touch our hearts.

I WAS ONLY 14 WHEN I LOST MY GRANDFATHER, AND WHEN I DID I THOUGHT THAT I HAVE LOST EVERYTHING. BUT I WILL NEVER HAVE FEELING THAT WILL COMPARE TO LOSING MY MOTHER. I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL JUST YOUR GRANDPA AND GOD IS WITH YOU.

This poem made me cry. It reminds me so much of my grandfather. He died when i was little and i can remember how he used to baby sitt me each day after play school. I am finding it difficult to let go of him even to this day but it has helped reading this poem. Thank you

How much this reminds me of my Pappaw who died 10 years ago. When I was 8 mths. pregnant w/my son, I stumbled & started falling down steps. I only fell 4, when an angel that I knew would always protect me, caught me. Myself and son, unharmed. I could have fallen 15 steps. That angel was my Pappaw. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful poem!
Virginia
