I found this poem rather extensive and thoughtful. I felt certain emotions that this person was having. It seems to me that this poem may have several meanings to it, but what I felt the most is that their childhood was gone and it was a very tragic event for this person. Maybe their childhood was ripped away from them, maybe by becoming a teen parent, or having to deal with certain family ordeals that may have led to becoming an adult role model and setting an appropiate environment for younger siblings. I liked this poem very much.

This poem is very unique and convinsing.It shows that people do care for others.It shows love and care for someone who just lost their life.This will be a good example for others who should learn how to respect and love.

My son, daughter-in-law and grand-daughter live in Littleton, and I felt exactly as the poet felt. Total frustration at the news media for being so crass about the death of our children. But for the grace of God my very own grandchild could have been one of those children.

this poem expresses the truth of an ugly situation and iam so glad it is finally put in words how the media reacted some of the scenes shown were very private and done to sensationalize a tragic crime!!BRAVO to this author!!!
