Gold |
| by Kecia Eaddy |
I'm a woman of royalty, bearing the gift of gold
and because I have Christ, there is beauty to behold.
He said that I'm fearfully and wonderfully made,
I know this to be true because my debt He paid.
From inward restoration to outward manifestation
guess what! It's time for a celebration,
so with my hands lifted up and my mouth filled with praise,
I thank God that I'm part of His creation.
I'm a woman of royalty being tried by the fire,
to come through as pure gold is my desire,
they tell me favor is deceitful and beauty is vain,
in this life there's going to be some pain,
but I don't mind because up the road is my eternal gain,
I'm a woman of royalty bearing the gift of gold,
leaving behind those days of old
because sooner or later my story will be told
of how the Lord Jesus allowed me to unfold,
you see I was sharpen in iniquity and in sin was I conceived
but it was His grace and His mercy that caused me to believe,
From man was I taken to comfort and console,
but it was my Lord Jesus that made me whole.
You see I'm a woman of royalty bearing the gift of gold,
take a look because there is beauty to behold.
