About the Poem

Love is a challenge and not always easy. Sometimes we stumble and fall and cry, but hopefully love remains.

And if it doesn't, then the tears help the healing.

Rain

Reflections on a window
display the pouring rain,
beads of moisture glisten
and wash across the pane.

Reflections from the other side
show a face that cannot hide
the gentle flowing teardrops,
shedding all the pain,
'till all emotions cried,
and the last eye's been dried -
then letting only love remain,
looking out at rain.

I like how the rain expresses love and sadness as well.
