About the Poem

this poem is about the big beautiful but graceful owl.

The Night Hunter

Her soft brown wings glide thorough the air, her feathers so slightly ruffled,
She saws over the ghostly wood and the people in their beds,
Her eyes glow like gold as she looks for her prey, as she hovers down,
Her talons outstretched as she hovers down, the dawn is coming nearer now,
She lands and hides, so the morning never meets her eyes.
