Poems for the People - Poems by the People
Poetry Greeting Cards
If you think greeting cards on the Internet have become blase, then you just haven't
seen ours yet. All of our greeting cards combine the Truth of poetry with the unique
beauty of custom graphics. And it couldn't be any easier to send a greeting card, either.
Select a Poetry Greeting Card by clicking the little circle next to each one, then add
your friend's email address. Compose a message to tell them how you feel. Finally, click a
button to send the greeting card and wait for their heart-felt response.

If
you would like to save your friend's email address to your Personal netpoets Address Book,
simply check the appropriate box below. If you have already added people to your Address
Book, you can use one of those instead of entering a new one. If you enter both, the poem
will be sent to both.
The email addresses are saved only for your convenience and only
at your request. We will NEVER send anything to your friend except at
your direction. Nor will we release their email address to anyone else.
Formatting Hints: Text color and Background color should be high-contrast, with one
dark and the other light. If they are too close to each other, even if entirely different colors,
your friend will pop a pupil trying to read the poem. Even though there is a Script font available,
it is usually best to avoid using it. Script can be very difficult to read on some monitors.
About Cookies: If you put a check mark next to the "Remember Me" prompt, the
system will set a Cookie on your computer so we can "remember" your name and email address.
Any time you Vote, Send a Poem to a Friend, or use any of the other interactive features at
Passions, the system will ask your computer for that cookie and then fill in your name
and email address for you. Saves a bit of typing...
If you would like to learn more about Cookies, and why we think they are perfectly
safe, we've created a page that explains how they work. This page will also give you a list
of all the cookies used at Passions and even allow you to manage them.
